Leon and Valerie Hunt have owned KJVC 92.7FM since early 2009. They also own 2 stations in Texas and another in Springhill, Louisiana. 

Doc Lowery has lived in Desoto Parish for 10 years but spent a lot of his youth in Frierson, staying with his Aunt and Uncle and running the roads with his cousins.  He calls himself a city boy gone country.

He is a Vietnam Veteran and spent 6 years in the Navy. 

Doc is former pastor at Kingston Baptist Church and then in 2005 he and his wife, Pat, started His House of Praise .

When he is not hosting the Morning Show (7 :00 to 9:00 Monday thru Friday) he works with his wife taking care of 25 dogs for their animal rescue - Pat’s Pitched Out Pets.  In addition to the dogs, they have a horse, a donkey named Festus and two birds but no fish.

Doc has had a very colorful job history from retail sales, computer operator, software instructor, preacher/pastor, transportation of human remains, to being a country DJ.  Doc says this is the most fun he’s ever had on a job, ever.

Brad has lived in Mansfield his entire life, where he attended Mansfield Middle and High Schools, graduating in 2004. He received his A.A.S in Sound Recording and Technology from BPCC in May of 2009.

He attends Southside Baptist (the church across form Wal-Mart) where he also works as the Media Director for the church, putting together various videos, flyers, announcements, and things for the "sign out front".

In his spare time he plays bass guitar and keys for a local Christian band called InPlainSight (check us out on Facebook)

He has been working at KJVC since May '10 where he handles news, sports and web content. You can hear him every evening at 5 for his daily newscast.
